I recently uploaded to YouTube a live concert of, The Sinceros: a band I played with back in the seventies and eighties. We made a couple of albums…in fact we made three if you include the re-recorded sophomore attempt. The Sound of Sunbathing, Pet Rock and the unreleased 2nd Debut.
This concert was performed on the 11th of November 1979 at, My Father’s Place. A club in Roslyn NY, owned by the larger-than-life character, Eppy Epstein.
The show was simulcast on radio station WLIR. They championed the band on the airways in the Long Island area and it was probably the first district to blow-up. The video was filmed on VHS tape from a static position at the the mixing desk.
The band was in-between records and back on the road after a big songwriting effort. Fortunately quite a few of those embryonic tunes were included in the set that night.
